I have played now my first season of the basic version at a late-with-family evening and find it a nice way to relax. Just me and my imagination while I'm guided through writing a farmers dairy.
Also my kids were interested and gave me some ideas for I could solve my problems. I think this is great for coop with children.
I'm looking forward for the next evening. I think it can become a nice ritual to come down from a stressful day.
havent played this yet but since i downloaded and read through i wanted to comment while i remember and give you my first impressions.
i really like the nature/town/farm/villagers split, it perfectly hits that farming/life sim mood, and really liked that the season changes which action is easiest.
i kinda wish there was a readymade option for a shorter game, maybe playing on a week to week basis instead of day to day? but as said i havent tried it so im not sure how quick i want to "win"
it would be so cool with another one page expansion of oracles/random prompt tables, that would help spark ideas for me for sure. might be cool with a couple of readymade farm worksheets with problems already filled in as well.
glad i came across this, im such a farming enthusiast we need more farming rpgs now lol!!!
Hey! Thanks for commenting! You're not going to believe what I've been working on for the last three days. I just published an EXPANSION PACK that has some tables for you to look over. I think it is not quite oracle stuff, but still hopefully something that is close.

for how many playes is this game?
Basic rules are for aolo play, but there is a section about how to play it cooperatively with others if you want.
That boils down to each player following the solo rules, more or less, but have shared goals and resources to cooperate together.
I have begun a farm...
what if you turned on the discussion forum feature and then people could blog their nature farms and villager towns :3
